In early July 2014, a Clark Avenue resident noticed several pieces of jewelry missing from her bedroom. The value of the stolen jewelry is approximately $8,000. Upon further inspection, the victim’s husband learned cash was also taken from the home. Detectives determined the home’s second floor tenant, 38-year-old Joshua Robinson, was responsible for the thefts. The investigation revealed Robinson had entered the homeowners first floor residence and taken the jewelry, and cash on four different occasions. The victims were able to get their jewelry back, and Robinson was arrested by warrant. He was charged with four counts of Burglary Third Degree, and Larceny Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Degree. Robinson was held on bond and arraigned in Meriden Superior Court on August 14, 2014.
